Relax and enjoy some time with friends painting pottery - no experience or fine art skills required!
This event will take place in San Rafael, CA - in Marin County.
2.5 hours of time. This includes instruction and demonstration and open time for you to play! Events may take place in the afternoons, in the 1pm-5pm timeframe.
6 pots of your choosing (you’ll have the option of a textured cup, a smooth cup, or a mini mixing / matcha bowl). You are always welcome to add more blank pots to the party upon arrival or if you find you want to paint more than one in the time we have. Additional pots /glaze/firing are $45 each.
a selection of glaze colors (currently fall/winter themed, get in touch if you want to upgrade to a custom color palette). I'll have some glazed pots on hand as samples / for inspiration!
supplies for painting: brushes, sponges, etc.
small paper plates, napkins, and cups
your friends - anywhere from 2 of you up to 6 people
a beverage or beverages of your choice - please limit to one drink per person if alcohol unless all are attending with one designated driver
snacks of your choice - please keep these very light and non-greasy finger-foods. Crackers, cheese, and light fruit like grapes are usually best.
an open-mind and a good mood, and be wearing comfy clothes you can spill on. This isn’t a very messy process but I don’t want you to worry about it!
